![]() Most hearings conducted in probate matters take place in Courthouse Rooms 106 and 110. Magistrate Houk’s chambers are located in Courthouse Room 108. Judge Levine’s chambers are located in Allen County Courthouse Room 316. Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.Probate cases are handled in the Civil Division of the Allen Superior Court by Judge Stanley A.Must be able to manage and resolve problems when dealing with hostile, difficult or emotional persons with tact, sensitivity and professionalism.Thorough knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to the Clerk's office.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong judgment skills with the ability to assist the public with legal guidance without providing legal advice.Strong computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office and other job-related computer software.Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and changing work-flow environment based on Department need.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Must be an Allen County resident per Indiana Code.Associate's Degree in Public Affairs, egal Studies, Business, or a related field is a plus.assistant, records management, administrative support, law enforcement or criminal justice, or customer service roles involving interactions with the public.High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of five years of work experience in court clerk, legal.Minimum Requirements and Working Conditions Performs all other duties as assigned, including overtime as required.Performs all functions of a Court Records Deputy as needed.Conducts legal research related to court claim cases and provides information to the judge as needed.Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of claim cases, judgments, and relevant information.Notifies Financial Division of court orders relating to their responsibilities without direction from the Court.Adhere to deadlines for entering orders, including judgments and release of judgments, by monitoring given due dates on tasks.Enters dispositional data used for compiling statistical reports required by the Indiana Supreme Court on automated system.Works with Judges, court staff, and law clerks to resolve inconsistencies and assures completeness and accuracy of court records. ![]()
