![]() ![]() I believe it ends up being around 15, but it could be less or more depending. It just depends on how many people sign up for the tour.I've always had better experiences with Ef Ultimate Break than with GoAhead their other variation. So if you wanted to go off and do your own thing, you can for like the day but obviously not go somewhere too far, as you’re likely to have an activity later on or leave the next day. I will say, minus free days…you are kind of on a schedule. I stress myself out and as a solo traveler, I feel it’s much easier to book through ef. Greece was more partying and fun in the sun (don’t have to party btw, I stayed in on a few nights I didn’t feel up to it) I feel like for the price, it’s nice bc everything is booked and planned for you. As someone who doesn’t drink a ton myself, I still enjoyed my time and made many friends in both groups. I also did Oktoberfest, Italy, Austria and Switzerland and it was in September/Oct.Īnd the crowd was maybe a tad older and more couples. I’ve been lucky to have decent groups when i traveled. So much fun though, made friends and our group was close minus one girl who complained and was super annoying. My Greece trip was in June and there was more drinking and a younger crowd. It all depends on the trip you book on how the experience will be. ![]() Hi! I’ve been on two trips with EF, one when I was 21 and 23. If hostels are the main lodging option on the tour expect a younger crowd whereas the more expensive options will have older travelers typically. The cheaper Ultimate Break trips are marketed towards younger individuals fresh out of school who can’t afford 4-5 star hotels but still want to travel. Age averages vary and are definitely teathered to the type of trip you spring for. EF’s contract allows their travelers to cut the line at both locations so it’s like the equivelent of a Disney EZ pass at those 2 world sites. If you’ve ever wanted to visit these sites I hear the lines and crowds are ridiculous. Something ot note that EF tours has a contract with the companies that handle the Vatican and Versaille tours. The Italy and Ireland trips are EF’s most popular. The flight delays are most commonly caused by worker or civil unrest in the host countries. Most negative experience people are having is lost luggage by the airlines and flight delays. Solo travelers makes up about 60% to 70% and groups typically 30% to 40% Group size probably won’t exceed 20 to 25 depending on the tour your looking at the time of year. Groups generally aren’t too big but the average age of many of EF’s travellers is 50’s and 60’s. I’m a 42yo veteran who just started working for EF this week.
